Refund Policy

At VerifyOwners, we want you to be completely satisfied with our services. This Refund Policy explains when and how you may request a refund.
1. Subscription Fees
General Rule
Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. When you subscribe to Standard or Business plans, you gain immediate access to all plan features, and the fee covers that access period.
Exceptions — Refunds May Be Granted
- Your account was charged in error due to a billing system fault
- You were charged twice for the same period (duplicate transaction)
- The platform experienced extended downtime (>24 hours) that materially prevented you from using key features
- You cancelled within 48 hours of subscribing and have not used any premium features during that window
2. Verification Fees
One-time verification fees are non-refundable once a verification review has been initiated by our team, regardless of the outcome. This covers the cost of document review, field inspection coordination, and government liaison services already performed.
If your verification is rejected and we determine the rejection was due to an internal error on our part, we will re-process the verification at no additional charge.
3. Service Credits
In circumstances where a full refund is not applicable but a service failure occurred, we may issue account credits equivalent to the affected period or service value. Credits are applied to future subscription charges and do not expire for 12 months.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email billing@verifyowners.com within 14 days of the transaction with:
- Your registered email address
- Transaction reference or receipt number
- Reason for the refund request
- Any supporting evidence (e.g. screenshots of error)
We process refund requests within 5–10 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take an additional 3–7 business days to appear depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks incur significant processing fees that we may recover from your account. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be suspended pending resolution.
6. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused days remaining in a billing period.
